AMBLE for ALD sponsored WALK
What is it? It is the first annual sponsored walk event in aid of ALD. Anyone connected with ALD or AMN around the world is invited to take part. we hope to get at least 50 sponsored walks up and down the country and around the world. Hopefully then each year it will grow and grow.
When is it? It is supposed to be on the 10th of September but if you can’t make it on this day then don’t worry. The time is whatever suits you.
How can I join in? We need a small army of volunteers to organise a walk in their area. try to get as many of your friends and family to organise walks of their own too. all you need to do is find a short 2/3 mile walk in your area. probably worth having a couple of `leaders` on the day wearing flurescent vests to identify them too and that’s it!
How much are we targeting? we are targeting £50000 which is a huge task.
What else do I need? nothing!! it is as simple as that!
How do I collect the money? Just ask us for the sponsorship form and give it to the walkers. they will get sponsorship and remember to get them to tick the gift aid box which means we get an extra 25% from the government.
