Jon Milne visits Downing Street
4th August 2017
Jon and Skipper Andy at Downing Street
“I got to know ALD Life after our childminder’s son was diagnosed with ALD, this was such a difficult time from getting the correct diagnosis to then trying to obtain information. In 2004 my wife, Linda, was contacted by Sara Hunt whose two sons had also been diagnosed, she was setting up a charity and was asking for help with the accounts. Linda has been volunteering for the charity ever since and is now trustee and treasurer.
I have seen the amazing work the charity does and the huge difference they make to the lives of the families affected by this terrible condition. The organisation is a great example of taking a personal tragedy and doing something to benefit others. Without it there would be no support and little information for those dealing with this rare disorder.” – Jon Milne, Fundraiser.

Jon wears one of our ALD Life t-shirts outside of Buckingham Palace with Oli after his visit to Downing Street.
