ALD Life Charity Appeal

Could anything be worse than losing your child? That’s exactly the feeling parents with a child with Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) experience everyday.

Apparently normal and healthy young boys as little as 4 years old lose their eyesight and hearing and become forced into a wheelchair, unable to use their arms or legs. These young boys lose complete control of their functions, and usually have only a few months or sometimes years to live. No child deserves to die in their prime. How can you help?

Sara Hunt helped by starting ALD Life – to improve treatment and care of patients and advance medical research into Adrenoleukodystrophy and Adrenomyeloneuropathy. Your generous donations will help us make sure we can continue supporting families affected with this cruel and devastating disorder worldwide and provide funding to much needed medical research. Please do whatever you can. Thank you.
